Brenda Treviño has worked in imaging for over fourteen years. She got her start with x-rays but quickly moved on to diagnostic medical sonography. She learned abdomen along with obstetrics & gynecology while studying at the University of Texas at Brownsville. Seeking to specialize further, she continued her education in Austin, Texas. There she acquired her certifications in both echocardiography and vascular. In 2011, she started working in the nationally recognized Heart Hospital of Austin. Even after moving back home to the Rio Grande Valley four years ago, she remains part of their staff sonographers. She has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the field of cardiovascular imaging throughout her vast scanning experience. Her bed-side manners are as polished as her scanning skills. Cardiologists trust her work. They know they are getting the most accurate images vital to their treatment plan.

When Brenda is not scanning, she enjoys traveling the world. She has visited China, Japan, the Philippines, various parts of Mexico, and the U.S. She loves spending time with Layla, her gorgeous pitbull. She likes spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, or buying new shoes.
